What do the US Tariffs mean to you?

There seems to be nothing but confusion surrounding the import tariffs into the United States. The continuous regulatory updates, on-again-off-again tax, and the ever-changing amounts seem to have created an endless bottleneck at the border. What do all of these fancy tariffs and terms mean to you?

Well, if you're one of our Canadian Customers it likely doesn't have much impact to you. We have adjusted our inventory levels to account for the added delays in receiving our orders coming from the USA, and we have covered any additional costs before the product lands at your feet. 

However, if you need to import a special order product from the States, you may see increased shipping, customs brokerage, tariff rates, and fees. You will DEFINITELY see increased shipping times to receive your parts. 

Those that are the most affected by the tariffs and border confusion are our loyal performance enthusiasts down south. We are seeing parts being held at the border while they try to determine:

1. If the part is exempt from the tariff or if should be taxed.
2. Where the part originated so that they can determine if it's taxable.
3. How much of the part is taxable.
4. And, many shipments are going missing as the backlog at the border buries packages.
